SIOUXLAND

The River City Anglers year begins in March with the annual fish fry. This is normally set for a Sunday afternoon where we promote memberships and enjoy a delicious meal.

There will be at least one outing each month during a typical fishing season. The locations vary each year. Some area favorites may be repeated yearly and some areas may be new.

One of the highlights of our weekend outings is the Saturday evening potluck. The goal is to have a fish fry from the weekend catch. Each member brings their own meat for the main dish just in case. It is a great time!

We participate in community service educational projects by promoting fishing to the youth. We also actively participate in the casting contest each year.

Financially the club supports fishing related activities in the area. Browns Lake and Snyder Bend are frequent beneficiaries of club projects.
